It enables consistency between teachers and is a real support in our journey towards realising the ambition of our New Curriculum for Wales. As an outcome, teaching and learning is more creative and far better tailored to the needs and interests of classes. As planning and assessment are easily linked together using the portal, so much teacher time is saved, allowing teachers to use their time to it’s best. ‘Building Blocks is the tool that gives me confidence as Headteacher that my teachers are being effectively supported whilst planning. Our goal is to make sure each child has numerous successful experiences every day to foster a positive sense of self and a love of learning.We’ve taken your views about the current educational challenges and developedīuilding Blocks, so that you have more time to spend on the important part of teaching and learning and less time away from the children. ![]() Our program is designed to gently stimulate children to reach their full potential to approach each developmental milestone with enthusiasm, persistence and joy. The program operates eleven hours per day, year-round. In addition to private pay spots, there are 10 School Readiness Grant funded spots for three and four year old children. Family fees for those spots range from a minimum of $0 - $98 per week, based on family size and income. Building Blocks Early Learning Center is a NAEYC accredited program that serves children ages six weeks to five years of age. We are committed to recognizing each child’s unique gifts and talents while providing quality early childhood education. Building Blocks Early Learning Center in Hamden (formerly Tender Care Learning Center of Hamden) matches early education professionalism with a family-like atmosphere to create a truly fun and engaging environment. ![]()
